We fund, install, own, and operate a complete carrier-neutral fibre network across your entire development, and every FNO and ISP delivers their services over it. No overbuild, no capex, and a revenue share for the property owner.

The Problem

Premium buildings are being overbuilt.

Across South Africa, three, four, sometimes more fibre operators each install their own reticulation in the same building (trenching, drilling risers, filling the meet-me room), often to serve just one or two clients each.

Two years later the building has four partial networks, a congested meet-me room, no single party accountable for the infrastructure, and tenants in some sections still waiting for coverage. The building owner carries the disruption, the duct congestion, and the maintenance mess.

The solution: build the network once, during construction, to a standard every operator can use, and have one licensed party own and manage it for the life of the building.

Tenant chooses, we activate

An FNO/ISP signs a client in the building, ties into our network at the meet-me room, and we activate the tenant's existing drop. It is live in days, with no new cabling, no drilling, and no disruption. Our team meets operators on site and manages every activation end to end.

Connected from move-in day

Every apartment receives its own fibre drop during construction. Under a bulk connectivity arrangement, "connectivity included" becomes a built-in amenity and a marketable leasing feature: no sign-up process, no installation appointment, no waiting. The same drops also serve an individual-choice model if the developer prefers.

Because we operate our own backhaul, we can deliver connectivity directly if a tenant's requirements aren't met by participating operators. Our commercial model, however, is built on partnership with the FNOs, not competition against them.

The time-critical window: locking ducting and riser provisioning into the construction programme early avoids costly retrofit work later. It's exactly what prevents a new development from inheriting the overbuild pattern. Retrofitting live buildings is possible (we're doing it at Golden Acre), but building during construction is faster, cleaner, and cheaper for everyone.
Commercial Model

We fund 100%. The owner earns for the full term.

Zero capital outlay. We fund the entire network deployment and carry all commercial and operational risk. The developer pays nothing at installation, or ever.
One flat fee per active link. Participating FNOs/ISPs pay a single flat monthly fee per active link: all-inclusive, with rack space, meet-me room facilities, and full maintenance bundled in. No hidden charges.
Developer revenue share. A share of net network revenue flows to the property owner for the life of the agreement, passive income on infrastructure the developer didn't pay for.
Exclusive infrastructure, open service. We ask for appointment as sole infrastructure partner, while every licensed FNO/ISP is welcome on the network on published, fair, non-discriminatory terms.
End-of-term protection. At expiry or non-renewal, ownership of the in-building infrastructure can transfer to the property owner on agreed terms, so the development is never left without its network.
Performance protection. Service-level remedies and step-in provisions should we persistently fail to perform. The developer is never locked into a failing partner.

Final SLA schedules are agreed in the definitive agreement. We assume full responsibility for maintenance, support, FNO and tenant management, backhaul coordination, and regulatory compliance: municipal permits, wayleaves, and ICASA requirements.

The questions we hear most.

Does exclusivity mean my tenants are locked into one ISP?
No, quite the opposite. Exclusivity applies to the physical infrastructure only; service is open. Every licensed FNO and ISP is welcome on the network on published, fair, non-discriminatory terms, and business tenants' freedom to choose their provider is protected contractually for the life of the agreement.
What does this cost the developer or building owner?
Nothing, not at installation and not ever. We fund 100% of the network deployment and carry all commercial and operational risk. The property owner earns a share of net network revenue for the full term of the agreement.
What happens if Vantage Point underperforms? Are we stuck?
No. The agreement includes service-level remedies and step-in provisions should we persistently fail to perform, and at expiry or non-renewal, ownership of the in-building infrastructure can transfer to the property owner on agreed terms. The development is never left without its network, and never locked into a failing partner.

Why would FNOs and ISPs agree to use your network instead of building their own?
Because they're better off: immediate access to every tenant with zero build cost, a dedicated ready-made entry path from the property boundary, activation in days instead of months, and one flat monthly fee per active link with rack space and maintenance included. Golden Acre is the proof: operators who had already built their own networks there are choosing to migrate onto ours.
Our building is already built and operators are already inside. Is it too late?
Not at all. Retrofitting a carrier-neutral network into a live building is exactly what we're doing at Golden Acre, including migrating multiple active FNOs onto the new network. Building during construction is faster, cleaner, and cheaper, but existing buildings are very much part of our work.
When in the construction programme should we engage?
As early as possible. Ducting and riser provisioning is the time-critical window: locking the network design into the construction programme early avoids costly retrofit work later. The site survey and assessment are free, so there's no reason to wait.
